Laser Workshops by Chapmanic Ltd
Each laser workshop will take participants through a journey about lasers. This journey will explain what a laser is, what it can be used for, how to be safe with lasers and how to use a laser clinically. Each participant will get the chance for hands-on with a laser and will learn how to hold the handpiece and experience laser tissue interaction first hand. We will have both Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Diode laser units available for use and will encourage participants to try each unit. The Carbon Dioxide lasers are perfect for surgical applications as they interact mainly with the water in the target tissue. Surgical applications, including tongue ties, will be covered during the workshop as well as the use of lasers for therapy (now called Photo Bio Modulation or PBM) using the diode laser. The diode laser is particularly suited to this application as the 810nm has little absorption with water giving both superficial as well as deeper penetration
into tissue.
Don’t worry if you’re new to lasers, or have some experience – come along and learn about the latest technology.
The team at Chapmanic Ltd have been involved in lasers for over 25 years and offer a full training and installation service either direct or through our network of associates.
